Bonfire Night

Remember, remember the 5th of November! The children have been learning about Bonfire Night. We talked about why Bonfire Night is celebrated and learnt about the Gunpowder plot. We discussed past and present and talked about how the Gunpowder plot happened a long time ago. We then made our own yummy Bonfire Night treats; breadstick sparklers! We also made firework pictures, exploring the colour and texture of chalk. The children enjoyed sharing their own Bonfire Night experiences using the photos shared on Tapestry.
