In Wren class we use Tapestry to document the children's learning, communicate with parents and to allow us to share achievements with the class and home.

Tapestry is an online platform that provides each individual child with their own e-learning journey held online. Parents and carers are given their own log-in using their email and a password made by the parent.

Staff have access to Tapestry so they can upload observations and photographs of your child’s day. An email is then sent to parents/carers to say that an observation has been added.

One of the huge benefits of ‘Tapestry’ over many other learning journey systems was because it gives you the opportunity to interact with staff. With Tapestry parents can view photos and videos of their child’s day, add on comments and “likes” and post things yourself if you want to share something that you have been doing at home.

When your child has been set up on the system you will receive an activation email, this will allow you to set your password.

We love to see all of your child's achievements, it could be anything from putting on their own coat, going to the toilet independently, learning to ride a bike or learning to swim, every little step is an achievement that needs to be shared. Please feel free to share these on Tapestry, we will always congratulate and share these achievements in class with their friends.
