Learning through Play

This half term, the children have been highly engaged across all areas of our provision. They have been developing their understanding of numbers 1 to 8, exploring a variety of animals and their habitats and further expanding their knowledge of the solar system - a topic we particularly enjoyed.

Focusing on one of our favourite stories "The Snail and the Whale", the children deepened their understanding of storytelling and creativity by creating their own clay models of the snail demonstrating fine motor development and pride in their work.
