Butterflies

Linked to our topic of life cycles, we were excited to welcome some very special friends into our unit…caterpillars! We carefully observed the changes they went through and used our learning to predict which stage of the life cycle they were in. The children were fascinated by the transformation and showed great curiosity and discussion throughout. We were especially excited when it was time to release our butterflies into the big world. It was a wonderful moment for everyone!

We hope they enjoyed their time with us as much as we enjoyed having them.
