As a direct response to the COVID-19 crisis, ThinkNinja has been updated with specific COVID-19 content. This will bring self-help knowledge and skills to children and young people (10-18 years old) who may be experiencing increased anxiety and stress during the crisis.

A message from Mrs Coverley...

During your time at school, your writing has been very much guided by a given stimulus. Think about the incredible work you produced earlier in the year based upon, ‘The Man Who Walked Between The Towers’ and ‘Letters From The Lighthouse’ for example.

We don’t often get the opportunity to base our writing on our own lives. However, during this period of uncertainty, we now have been given the unique chance to produce a first-person account of our day-to-day existence.

During this unprecedented time, we are all having to alter our lives in one way or another.

Whilst you are not in school, you will be experiencing many mixed emotions. These emotions will vary as the days and weeks pass by. Writing these down is a proven way of helping to make sense of them and to aid our general wellbeing.

I am setting you the task of keeping a diary over the coming weeks. This will be entirely personal to you, unless you wanted to share any of your extracts with me.

Imagine having a document of this significant period of your life to look back on in years to come...
