Spring Term 2 2022

I hope you all had a fantastic half term and a well deserved break!

It is so lovely to see everyone return back at school and we are looking forward to another fantastic half term.

We still expect every child to be the best version of themselves and their behaviour to meet the high standards of Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe. Our classroom continues to be a challenging place for children to grow as learners, where they are happy to have a go and know we learn from mistakes.

Over Spring Term 2 we will cover a range of themes. In our first week, we will be having an Art week linked to the Science work we did in Spring 1, about 'How do plants grow and stay healthy?'. We will be looking at the flowers work of Vincent Van Gogh and will be using our drawing and painting skills.

We will then move onto our Geography Topic of a study of food demands on the natural world. We will be looking at the journey of coco beans and exploring the question 'Where have you bean?'

We will finish the term with our RE work, looking at Jewish and Christian stories through 'How and why some stories are important in religion?'
