What a busy week Bonnie has had! It was Bonnie's Birthday on Monday and she's had a visit to the hospital to have a brace put on her leg that she has injured. It's nice to see you still working hard with a brace on Bonnie!

Paige has been playing out in the garden and she's been writing and posting letters to her friends. Paige asked her mum to buy the David Walliams books so she could read them. She is currently reading Gangsta Granny and loving it, she has struggled on a couple of words but used her phonics to work them out herself. Well done Paige! Paige was the Jay class winner for the Easter competition and this week received her certificate and Easter egg. She also keeps losing teeth and her other top one is soon to come out too.

Kian has been very busy this week and has been sailing through is all work. He’s only been riding his bike three weeks without stabilisers and this week he rode eight and half miles to Mansfield Woodhouse to see his great grandma through her kitchen window. He never moaned or stopped once. Well done Kian, what great persistence!

Wow look how busy Elsie has been! She has been completing the work on Olympig! Elsie discussed our word of the day "triumphant" and spoke about when she won a singing competition last year with Roise and said "we were triumphant and it made us feel very happy." She has also been completing her maths work out in the garden enjoying the sunshine.

Elsie and Rosie have made play dough out of cornflour flour and coconut shampoo. They say it smells so good but it was a messy job and they had to hoover the floor afterwards because it was every where.

Elsie has been going on walks to the woods, finding different sticks. The other day she walked over 4 miles, well done Elsie! She tries to find the biggest stick she can every time but she also found a stick that looked like a trumpet and played a tune on it.

Elsie had a full weekend camping in the tent in her bedroom and has also learned to ride her bike more confidently, Well done Elsie! Elsie says she is missing her family a lot. She made a picture of her hug and her Mum delivered it to her Auntie's doorstep, so they had a Elsie size hug to have until she get to see them again.

What a great start to the week Lexie! She is having a go at her spellings everyday and is making great improvements, well done Lexie!

Lexie has had a paint a pot session in the garden with her sister Lily and made a lovely unicorn figure. She has also been to deliver a special package to Paige's house and got to wave at her through the window. Lexie has been discussing our book 'Olympig' and identified that all pictures were of a pig doing sports. She wondered if the pig was a keep fit person like Joe Wicks on the telly. She thinks the book will be about all the sports Olympig likes to do. She has also being writing a letter to Bonnie and has been having fun in the garden painting rocks. Keep up the hard work Lexie!

It's lovely to hear that Farrall has jumped straight back into work this week.
He has been busy helping Logan search for minibeasts, enjoyed playing in the sunshine, helped prepare dinners and has enjoyed doing lots of jigsaws too. Farrall has been on lots of walks and he will soon be able to take his bike as he has been building his riding confidence. Well done Farrall!

Alex has been working hard on this weeks tasks as well as having fun in the sunshine. Keep up the super work Alex!

Sofia has been busy working through the home learning pack. Keep it up Sofia!

It is lovely to see Jack back working hard after the Easter Holidays. Keep up the super work Jack!
