Stay active at home
Starting Monday 23rd March Joe Wicks is going to be hosting free workouts for children on his YouTube channel. With school being closed it is important for children to keep moving and stay healthy and positive. You don't need any equipment, just tune into his YouTube channel at 9am each morning for 30 minute, fun workout.
From Monday 23rd March at 11am Mr MC will be uploading daily phonics lessons to his YouTube channel.
Daily Dough Disco
Shonette Basen Wood is doing a daily live 'Dough Disco' & a daily play based story challenge.
Everyday at 9.30am - Dough Disco this is a great way for children to develop their fine motor skills in aiding pencil control and writing. I have listed a simple playdough recipe below.
At 1pm is a play based story challenge.
Art of Brilliance
Art of Brilliance are trying to keep our spirits up by coming up with ways to spread some positivity and help keep minds busy with ‘good stuff’. They have launched an online wellbeing package for schools and describe it as ‘like Netflix, but for wellbeing’.
Starting Wednesday 25th March they are launching #WellbeingWednesday. They will be doing one lesson a week . The videos will be released on their YouTube channel at 10am every Wednesday.
Our External PE providers have given us access to their website. There are plenty of fun resources available and free to download. This includes activities in physical activity, lifeskills, health & wellbeing.
