~ December 2021 ~

This will be served on Wednesday 15th December. The usual charge of £2.30 applies. Your child will just need to tell their teacher on the day if they are having a dinner. Charges will be taken from your Squid account. If you don't have or use a Squid account, you can pay via the school bank account. Please note that we will not be serving jacket potatoes on that day so if your child does not want a Christmas dinner, you will need to send them with sandwiches. There will also be no tuck available on Wednesday so if you are sending money in on Monday, you will need £2.40 for two items or £1.20 for one.

Friday 17th December will be party day!! Children can come into school in their party clothes or Christmas jumpers. It will be non-uniform day, but please send children in clothing and footwear appropriate for school. The children will be having party food in the afternoon, but will still require their packed lunch if they are not school dinners. We have asked a special someone to join us on Friday - fingers crossed he can make it!! Please remember to sent £1.50 into your child's class teacher for the party.

Thank you to everyone who donated for Children in Need and 999 Day. As a school we raised the following amounts:

Children in Need - £260.76

999 Day - £111

Poppy Day - £176.99

Of course, many of you will have donated online and  our contributions will go towards supporting these very worthy causes.

Just a reminder that we break up for the Christmas holidays on Friday 17th December! As you know, we have a different holiday pattern to Notts County Council school so our children will return on Monday 10th January. Please note that Friday 7th January is an INSET day.

Unfortunately, due to rising costs generally, the price of a school meal will increase from January 10th to £2.40.

When we return after the Christmas holidays we will be on Week 2 of the school meal cycle.

We have had reports of head lice in school. Can you please ensure that you check your child/ren's hair regularly and treat if necessary. Further information can be found here
