As we near the end of term there are many celebratory events scheduled over the next couple of weeks. Please see the calendar below for that list and don’t hesitate to contact a member of staff regarding any of those.

This is just a reminder that after Christmas there will be a gradual move over to MCAS (My Child At School) for payments and bookings instead of via sQuid. If you need further assistance regarding this matter, please contact the school office.

Kingfisher class spent an afternoon this week at the Health Hub. They had been

asked to help with the planting of 200 saplings.

Alyssa said 'We were given baby trees in plant pots and were told to dig a hole, take the baby tree out of the plant pot and plant it. It was a thrilling experience!'

Some members of our choir joined with choirs from our other primary trust schools to sing at the annual trust awards yesterday afternoon. The singing was beautiful and we’re very proud of how they represented Birklands – well done!

We are really pleased with how the children have responded to the behaviour reward wristbands.

Feedback from the children is that they would like the reward cabinet moving into the main school, so please don't be alarmed when it disappears from the entrance!
