Weekly Bulletin

Today is a very sad day at Birklands as we say goodbye to both Mrs Smith and Mrs Jackson.

Mrs Smith has been Head Teacher since January 2017, and before that was Deputy Head. She has led the school through some challenging times to where we are today, which I'm sure you will agree, is an amazing school! She has been promoted to Executive Head Teacher for the Nova Education Trust so will still be involved in our school and we will still see her. 

Mrs Jackson has also secured a promotion and will be leaving us after nearly 7 years with team Birklands.  We wish Mrs Jackson all the best with her new job and we know she will be successful. 

Sports Day for this year has been booked for Wednesday 22nd June. More details will be sent out nearer the time, but thought you would like the date for your diary.

It was fantastic to see all of the entries to the Easter Bonnet competition. It was a very difficult decision, but three winners were eventually chosen. Each winner has been given a prize of a £5 Amazon voucher.

Mrs Pawlitta was amazed by all of the entries to her Winter Olympics competition. Here are some pictures of the winning entries.

We break up today for the Easter holidays. We hope you all have a fabulous break and look forward to seeing you all back in school on Tuesday 19th April.
